You can also donate directly to the Rare Impact Fund on the brand’s website.I have been trying out quite a few products from Rare Beauty if you saw my first impressions post ( you can check that out here) and today I have two full reviews to share. One percent of Rare Beauty’s sales go to the Rare Impact Fund, which raises funds for their philanthropic foundations and corporate partners. Rare Beauty is committed to giving people access to the resources they need to support their mental health. The Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation is available on Sephora. Hopefully it can act as a guide for you if ever you’re in the market for one of the foundations in the photo (my PERFECT matches are the Fenty one and the Shiseido one). But if you can get the right shade and if you enjoy natural, medium coverage bases, then this one is definitely for you!īTW, here are some swatch comparisons of the different foundations I own (except for the Rare Beauty one in 230N-that’s my sister’s). I think it’s the undertone that really throws me off with this one. Overall, I really like this foundation, although there are others that I reach for more.

At the end of the day, it still looks fresh and my skin still looks evened out. It doesn’t get oily and there’s minimal transfer if you’re wearing a mask. It really does wear all day for me (I have normal-combo skin)-not to mention it wears nicely. The Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation with a full face of makeup

It has a decent amount of coverage (although I prefer more full coverage foundations), and it wears really nicely too. As you can see in my photos above, it really does even out the skin tone and blur texture. It can be a little drying, though, if you don’t moisturize your face properly before applying it.

I also noticed that it adds a bit of glow to the complexion-something I enjoy. I love this foundation’s natural, skin-like finish. True to its claim, it doesn’t look cakey or feel heavy and it doesn’t cause me to break out. I use a dense foundation brush (specifically, the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush) to blend out this product. It dries kind of quickly so it really is best to use a bit at a time and blend it out thoroughly. The foundation is really fluid and it actually does feel like a serum. I also love the sphere on the tube! It’s really cute and it’s also ergonomic, making it accessible for people who might have a hard time grasping and gripping normal foundation bottles. I know some people might be turned off by this since bacteria could spread into the bottle, but I don’t mind it so much. Like I mentioned earlier, the foundation has a doe-foot applicator for a quick and mess-free application. I find the perfect amount to be five to seven thin dots around my face. If I apply too much, I end up having a hard time blending it out and it looks way too warm on me. When they said a little goes a long way with this foundation, they really did mean it. Left: barefaced, Right: wearing the foundation Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation in 240W. Despite this, I can make the 240W work, especially when I’m a bit more tan. My sister has the shade 230N (light medium with neutral olive undertones), and that one doesn’t match my undertone at all. One thing about Rare Beauty’s shade range: it’s very inclusive, but I feel like the undertones are kind of off? I know 240W is the correct shade for me, but it’s a little too warm for my taste. I found out my Fenty Beauty foundation shade through her, so when I found out she wears 240W, I thought would be a good match for me, too. Since I ordered this online, I looked to beauty guru Sam Robinson for her shade match since our skin tones are similar. I got the shade 240W (light medium with warm golden undertones). Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation Doe-Foot Applicator It’s cruelty-free, vegan, paraben-free, dermatologist-tested, noncomedogenic, and suitable for sensitive skin. It has a doe-foot applicator and comes in 48 shades. The brand also claims that it can even out the skin tone and smooth the look of pores-all with no clogging or caking. It dries to a natural, skin-like finish and its smooth-glide formula makes it easy to blend and build your base just the way you like it. Read on to find out my thoughts about this base!Īccording to the Rare Beauty website, the Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation is a lightweight, long-lasting foundation that feels like a serum and has medium coverage. Other than the Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush, I think this foundation is something a lot of people are interested in. In this post, I’ll be talking about the Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation.

And it might be like this for a while since I know a lot of people are curious about the brand (and also because I just purchased a lot of makeup from them hehe).
